Vidyasagar Foundation has established a Higher Secondary Girl's school in Purulia and has been conducting the school successfully for catering the need of the backward and middle-class people of the State, it is necessary for the Foundation to establish different organs of Higher Education Training, Research, Nursing Education and Technical Education in order to uplift the women. The centre has established, at Purulia, on huge tract of land (38 acres) and building by the Foundation, is to be used for all such development work.
